DCMM: SO tell me a little about Zoe Ray:

ZR:Well I’m that chic they call ZOE RAY get to know me well because I got a whole lot to bring. Born and rise in Washington, D.C., I’m a Capricorn that’s loyal, focus, determined and fearless but yet fun and silly to be around. I would have to say my style is very edgy, tom boyish but always sexy, been in the modeling game for 3 years now. Not only do I model I also sing. My style is R&B soul, been singing all my life. I use to be in a singing group called Dezir. We were a four girl R&B singing group from Washington, D.C., we were always compared to En vogue because our harmony was unreal, and we performed all over and came in 1st place for every talent show we entered. We opened up for major artist like Keith Sweat, SWV, KC & JoJo, Patti Labelle and more. I have received awards for singing on many levels. Like I said in the being lol…I’m very determined, focused, humble, goal-oriented, and will do whatever it takes to achieve success!!!! Singing and Modeling is more than music and a pretty face to me its Passion, Pure, Deep, its life.

DCMM: Are you into sports at all:

ZR: Do I like sports? Yeah, Modeling. To me modeling is a sport; it’s like any other sport you have to be your best to be the best. It’s a competition night in and night out, your fighting for covers, for advertisements, for endorsements, and ECT. And you need more than just a great body, you need skills. But to answer your question of course the REDSKINS I’m from DC and Clinton Porter is my Husband he don’t know it yet lol…

DCMM: What inspired me to model?

ZR: What inspired me were the game changer Beverly Johnson, Iman, Naomi Campbell, and now in my generation Omahyra Mota. Studying these ladies and how the change the game. Beverly Johnson was the first black women to be on Vogue. Iman and her natural beauty. Naomi Campbell and her bad ass cat walk on the runway. Omahyra Mota, her swagg and style is crazy.

DCMM:  How will I change the game?

ZR: I will change the game by going against the grain and being successful and instead of famous cause fame don’t last.

DCMM:  Tell me about your modeling accomplishments:

ZR:  Well the year 2009 was a great year for me I been published in a lot of things 2010 Sextrology Calendar, book cover title Walk a Mile by Ebonee Monique that will hit all book store this year, A coffee table book that’s out in all book store near you, DJ QuickSilva video “where they do that at”, My Good friend Simscity Videos. The face of Steelo Cosmetics, apart of Capitol Icon Agency, Magazines, local Fashion Shows in the DC area and I also was in the 2009 Capitol Swimsuit Competition which I didn’t win but my present was felt, but be on the look out for your chic from 2010 and on. So catch me now or see me later lol…

DCMM: What do I do for fun?

ZR: Well I’m simple, travel, shop, and chill with family and friends, basically treasure each moment that I can.

DCMM: What is your idea of a good date?

ZR:  Well I can easily say dinner, dancing, and movie ECT. But I enjoy going to the park and having a great conversation. I’m a true believer on communication. The greatest sex organ is one’s mind and not everyone has the capability to stimulate that organ with great conversation. I want someone who can blow my mind with the simple things in life.

DCMM:  What do people say is your best feature?

ZR:  Other than my brain lol…a lot of makeup artist always say my cheek bones and my skin is flawless As well as my dimples and big browns eyes.

DCMM:  Tell me what “sexy” is to you:
ZR:  Attitude & Intelligence...Attitude to me means being confident in anything that you do not so rude or nasty about it though.  Intelligence which means you, have to be book smart and street smart. Like my man Jay–Z, he knows when to put on a business suit but can go back into your polo boots and seven jeans. In being sexy you don’t have to the best looking someone you can just have a swag that’s out of control.

DCMM:  What’s the best thing about modeling?

ZR:  Of course traveling and meeting new people but being able to be creative and the ability to take nothing and turn it into something special.

DCMM:  Any shout outs or things you want people to know in closing?

ZR: I would like to thank DCMM for the interview.
